The goal of the fuselage is to have both halves easily combined, have enough space for the electronic components and attach to the nosecone, empennage, and wings.

Design Attempts

Attempt 1: The first attempt used a lip - groove joint between the bottom and top halves of the fuselage. The skin of the this attempt was slightly too thin.

Attempt 2: The second attempt succesfully joined the top and bottom halves. The joint however was tight on the left lip - groove joint, while the right side fit perfectly. This inaccuracy was due to the printer itself. The easiest solution is to slightly sand the left joint.
